Garry Kasparov announced today that he is retiring from Chess, the game at which he is currently ranked number one in the world. He will be remembered both as one of the great players of the game and also as the man who handed the world title to a computer. He lost against IBM's Deep Blue in a controversial 1997 match. Until the match, only humans had held the title of world's best chess player. Discuss this article on the forums. (5 posts)
